GDPR and Cyber Essentials - Turnkey working to protect customer data

Cyber Awareness

As part of our preparations for GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), we’ve just completed our Cyber Essentials assessment and are delighted to say we’ve received our Cyber Essentails certificate!

So, we have a new accreditation badge:

Cyber Essentials certification is awarded on the basis of a verified self-assessment.  An organisation undertakes their own assessment of their implementation of the Cyber Essentials control themes via a questionnaire, which is approved by a senior executive.

This questionnaire is then verified by an independent Certification Body to assess whether an appropriate standard has been achieved, and certification can be awarded. This option offers a basic level of assurance and can be achieved at low cost.

We are already committed and working towards Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

GDPR compliance is required by May 25th, 2018 and this demonstrates that Turnkey are well on the way to achieving compliance ahead of that date.

If you want assistance in complying with the new regulations, why not speak to our Infrastructure team? They can provide advice on protecting your business as part of a comprehensive support package.

Talk to me if you’re considering a business solution. If I don’t know the answer, I will know someone who does.
